Re: Curly leaves on Daphne bush

Daphnes are very tricky plants. Sometimes they die for no apparent reason. Aphids can cause leaves to wrinkle. You should check the undersides of the leaves for tiny insects no bigger than a pin head. Frequently they are green, but they can be almost any color. If you have aphids just about any insecticide or horticultural oil will eliminate them. Frequently when leaves curl it is caused by a virus. Curling leaves and viruses are a not exactly common problems. Unfortunately, if your plant is infected with a virus it should be disposed of. There is no cure. If you leave the plant in place until it ultimately dies insects may carry the disease to other plants. Good luck!
